Changes to ACH Rules Conference Call

Join Tiffany Markey, the Implementation Coordinator at Mid-Atlantic Corporate for a one-hour conference call on Thursday, May 22, at 11:00 a.m. ET.  Tiffany will be discussing the current rules of the National System of Fines, as well as how they have been modified for 2008.  Tiffany will also elaborate on the Company Name Identification Rule and the ODFI Reporting Requirements.  Deadline to register is Friday May 9. 

VOIP Security Considerations Conference Call

Credit unions around the country are implementing VOIP (Voice Over IP) phone systems due to the associated cost savings and inherent extensibility.  However, VOIP, like all IP-based technologies, has security considerations that should be evaluated prior to purchase and implementation.  Join Tom DeSot, Chief Compliance Officer at Digital Defense, Inc.  for a one hour conference call on Thursday, June 5, at 11 a.m. ET, as he discusses topics that all credit unions should be aware of before the first phone is installed. Deadline to register is Wednesday, May 28.

2008 Annual Meeting

June 18 & 19

This year’s event begins with our Charity Golf Tournament on Wednesday, June 18 at The Links of Gettysburg with proceeds benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network. Come out and swing a club for a great cause. On Wednesday evening a complimentary shuttle service will be available for conference participants, running from the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel to downtown Gettysburg.  Optional group ghost tours are also planned for Wednesday evening through The Ghosts of Gettysburg Walking Tours.  Tours are planned at 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Don’t miss out on two exciting education sessions, networking opportunities and our Product Fair, which will showcase cutting edge products and services.  In addition, our Annual Business Meeting with be held and the 2007 Year in Review will be presented on Thursday, June 19.  Make time to join us for our special Retirement Reception to honor Ed Fox from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.  The reception is included when you register for the Complete Meeting Package.
